Come From Away

is seeking backstage help!
Message from the director Sharon Benchoff:
I started out as a theatre techie before becoming a director. I am looking for you to join my
production team!
Seeking the following:
Assistant Director – Are you interested in perhaps becoming a director in the future? Being my assistant director will give you an opportunity to see what is involved.
Props – there are lots of props needed for the show. Fortunately, Players has many of them. If you are interested in finding or making props for the show and helping during the performances, this may be a job for you.
Costumes – Lynne, head of costumes always needs a helping hand in pulling suitable costumes from our stock, maybe doing some alterations, and finding some in thrift stores.
Sound – want to help set up sound, learn more about running sound, troubleshooting mic problems backstage?
Lighting – extremely important to all productions, help by learning to focus, and assist in programming the lighting board and running cues. You cannot be afraid of heights.
Set – We will begin working on the set this summer. All help is needed. No, you do not need experience, we will teach you, guide you and guarantee you will have fun. We work on Saturdays.
Projections – I plan to use projections as part of the set. I will need someone to find or make videos and stills and run them during the performances. Sounds interesting?
If you think you may be interested in any of the jobs listed above or if you have any questions, please contact me. Community Players of Salisbury encourages new members of all skill levels.
